Frequently asked questions
Is Shortnshare really free?
Yes. The free plan includes 50 short links and 50 QR codes for life, with no time limit. Flipbooks are capped at three PDFs of up to 30 pages each, and free flipbooks carry a small watermark. Upgrade to Pro whenever you need more.
Can I use my own domain?
Not today. Short links are issued on shortnshare.com only: the server accepts exactly one issuable domain and maps any other to it. Custom domains are not available right now.
What kinds of files can I turn into a flipbook?
Flipbooks are built from PDF files. On the free plan each PDF can be up to 15 MB and 30 pages, and you can publish up to three flipbooks. Pro raises this to 75 MB and 300 pages per PDF, for up to 100 flipbooks.
Who can see my analytics?
Your analytics dashboard is private: it requires you to be signed in and only ever returns your own links. Real-time analytics, exports and shareable analytics pages are Pro features. The basic public stats endpoint for a short link does show its click count to anyone who has the link.
